Discover Ajaccio
Napoleon's hometown doesn't reveal itself in quite the same way depending on the time of day you visit it.
There is the Imperial City, of course, with its port and citadel, but it is in its contrasts that it is most beautiful. We love to get lost there for the insolent blue of its gulf that appears at the turn of an ochre alley, or for that late afternoon light that sets the facades of the old town ablaze.
Living here, even for a short stay, means adopting a different rhythm. It means going to the market for the smell of fresh brocciu cheese and maquis herbs, then escaping towards the Route des Sanguinaires as the sun begins to set.
Just a few minutes from the villa, the town offers this rare luxury: being able to go in an instant from the excitement of a café terrace to the relaxation of a hidden cove.
